The game is made up of 25 dice each with different letter combinations. The letters are distributed based on their frequency of use in English words. Each dice is rolled and placed in a grid. The object of the game is to find as many words (using touching letters) as possible.
You'll need a way for each player to write down words (pens and paper?) and a timer (on your phone?). Generate a new board and start a countdown timer. Both you and your friend search the board for words and mark them on your own word list. Whoever has the most words wins. You can also extend the game by breaking it into rounds and keep score.
Letters in a word must be touching vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. A letter cannot be reused within a word. No proper names, no abbreviations, no alternate languages. Only dictionary words count. Merriam-Webster's online dictionary is a good resource for this but you can agree on any dictionary.
